Job Coaching 

Job coaching is key for people with moderate or severe learning disabilities.

A job coach can:

• encourage and empower you to actively participate in meaningful employment
• support you to understand how to work
• support your manager to understand how to work well with you.

Working in partnership with Job Centre Plus and social workers, Generate can supply trained and experienced job coaches across London.

Our job coaches work jointly with you and employers to give you the opportunity to:

• complete work experience
• undertake a work trial
• work for the first time
• offer extra support in your current job and help you increase performance and productivity.

Job coaches can be paid for through direct payments, or we can support with applications to the Government’s Access to Work programme.
